Yankee Candle Closes

Sadly, the Yankee Candle flagship store in Williamsburg closed on April 18th 2021. Even in the unprecedented upheaval of the Covid pandemic this came as a surprise to locals and visitors alike.

The 45,000-square-foot facility on Richmond Road was a huge drawl for years. People came to know the sights of indoor snow falling, the sounds of holiday animatronics and of course the smells of candles.
