FIDO FEST IS BACK
Grab your leash and your furry friend for a great time at Fido Fest! Join James Parks & Recreation and the Heritage Humane Society on Saturday, March 21, 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. at Jamestown Beach Event Park for this annual PAW-TY featuring family and dog-friendly activities, games, contests, fabulous food ($) and more! Merchandise ($) and community vendors will also be present. New this year is dog yoga and an off-leash dog play area (by dog weight)!
Contests include:
• Dog Photo Contest: prizes for Best Smile, Best Costume and Precious Pup (two categories – age 2 & younger and age 3+). To enter this contest, please visit https://tinyurl.com/fidofest2020
by March 15. Guests vote during festival.
• Best Trick Contest: two minute maximum time limit
• Fido Fashion Show: prizes for Best Overall, Best Couple, Funniest and Most Creative
Leashed pets welcome; please no retractable leashes. All dogs must remain leashed while in the park, except in designated off-leash play areas. Dogs must be current on vaccines.
