There is no question the addition of the Virginia
Capital Trail
amplified the number of bicyclist and outdoor enthusiasts coming to Williamsburg Virginia. It seems every year more incentives are added to the trail making it the go to place for tourists and locals.

The most recent addition is a donation of a trail exercise machine from Steve Rose and the Eco Discovery Park. The multi-use equipment is located at the corner of John Tyler Highway (Route 5) and Greensprings Road and near the trailhead for the Greensprings Interpretive Trail. Steve Rose and the Eco Discovery Park had an estimated $35,000 was left in the non-profits account and the proximity to both trails was a natural fit. Rose also owns nearby Spoke & Art, a combination café and corner convenience store. At Spoke & Art, patrons can pop in for coffee, drinks, sweets, snacks and sandwiches to enjoy inside, on the deck, or on-the-go, or they can stock up on cycling supplies including pumps, locks, lights and helmets. Additionally, there are live music events, yoga on the deck and event afternoon tea.
