Bio

The Whiskey Saints is a group of Columbus, Ohio musicians who have been playing together for over 20 years. The Whiskey Saints were originally formed as an acoustic duo back in 1997. Through the years, we have played hundreds of clubs, weddings, festivals and private parties in a variety of formats. From high-energy acoustic to all-out full, throttle rock. In 2017, we re-emerged after a three-year break, reinventing our approach once again to focus on the alt-rock classics from the 80s, 90s and not so distant past.

The Whiskey Saints are a four-piece alternative rock band out of Southern California. They most recently released their sophomore effort “24 Hours,” produced by Jim Dineen and mixed by Grammy Award winner Joe McGrath (Morrissey, Ryan Adams, B.B. King), made available early June 2011 on Unemployed Records. Solid songwriting with poignant lyrics, along with raucous guitars and dynamic, expressive performances have helped The Whiskey Saints find their creative niche in the independent music world.

The Whiskey Saints debut LP album “West” was released in 2008. Since its introduction, the band has been described as having strong roots/southern rock/folk influences, with some similarities to classic indie pop/rock acts as well. This blend of diverse influences, along with memorable, high energy live shows, often has the band drawing comparisons in the indie community to eclectic, crossover artists such as My Morning Jacket, Band of Horses, Wilco, Kings of Leon and Ryan Adams.

The Whiskey Saints formed in Los Angeles in 2006. Members include drummer Jeff Bell, guitarist David Bloomfield, bassist Robert Hughes and singer/guitarist David Sparrow.

LIVE MUSIC : MIKE DEMOSS : WILLIAMSBURG INN

Williamsburg Virginia Live Music Local Music Finder Mike DeMossAbout Mike DeMoss

If you’re exploring Williamsburg, Virginia and wondering where all the good vibes are coming from, there’s a solid chance it’s Mike DeMoss holding court with his signature acoustic style. Mike brings the same smooth vocals and easygoing charm he’s known for on the coast, but with a Williamsburg twist—think colonial‑era ambiance meets modern‑day “wow, this guy’s good.”

Whether he’s playing on a breezy patio in Merchants Square or moving indoors when Virginia weather decides to be dramatic, Mike’s sets always feel warm, relaxed, and just a little addictive. Locals love him, tourists stumble into a show and instantly become fans, and Williamsburg gets one more reason to brag about its live‑music scene.

ABOUT THE VENUE:Williamsburg-Virginia-Hotels-Williamsburg-Inn

The Williamsburg Inn Terrace

The Williamsburg Inn is where Colonial Williamsburg’s old‑world charm meets the kind of luxury that makes you briefly consider speaking in 18th‑century English. Guests get the full royal treatment—grand architecture, manicured grounds, and service so polished you’ll wonder if you accidentally became a duke. And one of the best parts? The live music. On sunny days, you can sip something dangerously good on the patio while musicians set the perfect vibe. When the weather decides to be dramatic (because Virginia loves a mood swing), the music simply moves indoors, keeping the atmosphere just as warm and elegant. Whether you’re here for the history, the cocktails, or the brag‑worthy photos, the Williamsburg Inn delivers every time.
