Skinner Box is a three-piece rock band based in Williamsburg, Virginia, that plays covers and a handful of originals. Collectively and individually, the band members have played hundreds of shows at over a hundred different venues.

To sustain their love of performing live music, the band embraces a simple philosophy: be prepared, please the crowd, and treat hosts as equal partners.

Good enough is not good enough

If you have been to a Skinner Box show and marveled at how "tight" their performances are, that is no accident. Until a song is perfectly crafted during rehearsal, it is not performed in front of an audience.

Give the people what they want

Skinner Box likes it when their audiences dance and/or sing along, so their mostly rock repertoire intentionally includes songs to inspire it.
