Originally conceived in 2003, the group has gone through nearly as many line up changes as the group whose music they emulate. And they have a habit of curiously disappearing and re-appearing as we need them.
This latest version of Imaginary Boys have mastered all of the chameleonic stages of The Cure. Besides ‘deep cuts’ and highlights from their edgy post-punk genesis and the danceable gloom of the 80s, you’ll hear all the melodic pop gems that made them a radio staple and darlings of the MTV era.
