Northern Virginia-based band, Melodime, (they got the name by combining the words “melody” and “time”) blends rock and roll, stunning piano melodies, and catchy guitar riffs with strong storytelling and emotionally charged anthems. With roots in country but influences in alternative rock, their southern-influenced style combines with haunting melodies and rich vocals to create music with impact.
Their new album, “Where the Sinners & the Saints Collide” is a thematic record about coming together, regardless of differences, to do some good. In fact, the band is donating 100% of the profits to their non-profit foundation Now I Play Along Too. The organization, with a slogan of “Make an album, change a life,” provides musical instruments and education for orphans, victims of disasters, and underprivileged kids locally and around the world. Melodime is a band that tells stories from the heart to blend their musical past with sounds of the future.
