Asheville, North Carolina based quartet Songs From The Road Band is an acclaimed bluegrass band who performs original songs and has produced five studio albums. Grammy-winning bass player Charles Humphrey has received multiple nominations for Bluegrass Songwriter of the Year, is a member of the North Carolina Music Hall of Fame. Guitar player Sam Wharton contributed vocals to the radio hit Token Of Love and Road To Nowhere, and James Schlender is a two-time National Fiddle Award winner and is one of the top five string fiddlers in the world. Mandolin player Mark Schimick is nationally-known on the jamgrass scene and has played with flatpicking legend Larry Keel. The band was founded in 2004 and has received numerous accolades in the bluegrass, Americana and jazz genres.
