The legendary Doc Robin, aka/Robin van Tine, has been playing music for most of his life. The blues are in his veins so he and the rest of the band can regularly be found rocking around the Greater Williamsburg area, Hampton Roads, and beyond. Mike “Big Dog” Miller is the vocalist and occasionally plays harp, slide, percussion. Tom Payne is on bass, vocals, and rainstick. Oscar Roncal is on drums and Zack Salsberry plays lead guitar.
They’ve been nominated by VEER Magazine in the Best Blues Band category, and their album Flyin’ Blind was included in the Best Blues Releases of 2013.
Their third CD “Blues on Fire”, featuring all original songs, is available now online.
