About this Event
During these trying times, many of us are enjoying more time spent in our own gardens. With precautions in place, visiting someone else’s garden is also a safe place to be. Over 100 private gardens will be open during Historic Garden Week 2021. In addition, over 1,000 world-class floral arrangements created by Garden Club of Virginia (GCV) volunteers will enhance tour properties.
Tour proceeds keep Virginia beautiful, document significant gardens through a fellowship program in landscape architecture and funded a project with Virginia State Parks, which the GCV helped to found in the 1930s.
*Convenience fees cover credit card processing costs and Eventbrite’s services which allow us to offer online ticket sales. This ensures that 100% of proceeds benefit the restoration and preservation of Virginia’s historic public gardens.
Historic Garden Week’s 2021 Guidebook is offered at no cost beginning in mid-March in hundreds of local businesses and visitor centers across Virginia. Click here to find the location nearest you: vagardenweek.org . The list will be available in mid-February.
The 144+ page Guidebook, with descriptions of tour sites and logistical information for all 30 tours offered, is also available for $20, which covers shipping and handling. We cannot guarantee orders received after March 26 will arrive prior to Historic Garden Week.
