Michael Clark Band

The Michael Clark Band – featuring Tracy Clark – will be rocking Cogan’s on Jan. 26 beginning at 8pm.

Often cited as one of the region’s funkiest bands, you’ll be treated to a night of Jimi Hendrix, Rolling Stones, Etta James, Prince, Chicago, Edgar Winter and so much more. There are usually no set-in-stone set-lists. Instead, the band generally starts the show with an R&B instrumental before Tracy takes the stage – and the room – by storm. You’ll enjoy some renditions of classic favorites mixed with Michael Clark Band original tunes, all performed in the band’s fun and funky style.

The Michael Clark Band, founded in 1991, are two-time winners of MEONA’s “Best Local Blues Band”, and 2008 winners of River City Blues Society’s “Battle of the Bands” contest. They’ve performed at events all across the country including Bourbon Street in New Orleans at the Blues Club.
