The Smoked Biscuit Food Truck will be at Virginia Beer Company

Smoked Biscuit is a new local food truck with a goal to create dishes that feature fresh, seasonal ingredients. Catering services from small dinners, to drop-off, to full-service banquet gatherings, Smoked Biscuit can handle the event. The menu is eclectic and delicious and includes:

• The Pig and Chicken:  Choice of Smoked Sausage or Bacon, Fried Egg, Cheese, Buttermilk Biscuit or Stone Ground Grits
• The Q and Slaw:  Smoked Chicken or Pork, VA Apple Slaw, Buttermilk Biscuit or Stone Ground Grits
• The Belly and Jam:  Smoked Pork Belly, Seasonal Fruit and Mustard Jam, VA Swiss Cheese, Sweet Potato Biscuit or Stone Ground Grits
• The BGT:  Smoked Pork Belly, Seasonal Greens, Fresh Tomato/Jam (Seasonal), Herbed Aioli, Buttermilk Biscuit or Stone Ground Grits
• The Smoky Veggie:  Smoked Seasonal Veggies, Quinoa, Stone Ground Grits, Fried Egg
• Chicken and Grits:  Smoked Chicken, Bell Pepper Gravy, Stone Ground Cheesey Grits
• Shrimp and Grits:  NC Shrimp (Seasonal), Tomato Jam or Bell Pepper Gravy, Smoked Pork, Cheesey Grits
• Toasty Nuts and Fruit:  Toasted Nuts, Seasonal Fruit, Honey Drizzle, Labneh, Quinoa
• French Toast Biscuit:  Cinnamon/Vanilla Batter, Sweet Potato Biscuit, Smoked Pork Belly, Seasonal Fruit Jam, Swiss Cheese
• Bene-Scuit:  Smoked Pork, Fried Egg, Hollandaise, Buttermilk Biscuit

The family friendly taproom at VBC is 2,000 sq. ft. and able to host up to 135 visitors at a time. It retains the original industrial feel of the building’s history while welcoming guests with modern amenities.  The taproom features two viewing windows looking into the brewing area, as well as a viewing bar top running along both windows. Amenities include 16 taps, beer to go, weekly events, observation windows looking into the brewery, women’s & men’s restrooms, a family restroom with changing table, electric outlets, board & card games, children’s books, and two filtered water fountains. Our roll-up garage door allows access to the beer garden on nice days, and access is always available via the door on the far side of the taproom.
