The following is a list of the local county/city government closures for the Thanksgiving holiday (Thurs., Nov. 25, 2021)
James City County
WJCC Courts will close at noon on Weds., Nov. 24, 2021.
Thurs., Nov. 25 and Fri., Nov. 26, 2021:
All County offices will be closed Thurs., Nov. 25 and Fri., Nov. 26
James City County Recreation Center and Abram Frink Jr. Community Center will be closed Thurs., Nov. 25
All County parks will remain open Thurs., Nov. 25 and Fri., Nov. 26
Chickahominy Riverfront Park, Little Creek Reservoir Park, James City County Marina and Freedom Park offices/ stores will be closed Thurs., Nov. 25 and Fri., Nov. 26
Tewning Road and Jolly Pond Road Convenience Centers will be closed Thurs., Nov. 25. The Toano Convenience Center is closed
Garbage Transfer Station is closed Thurs., Nov. 25
Curbside recycling will be delayed one day beginning on Thurs., Nov. 25 through Sat., Nov. 27.
Libraries will be closed Thurs., Nov. 25 and Fri., Nov. 26
Courts are closed Thurs., Nov. 25 and Fri., Nov. 26
City of Williamsburg
City of Williamsburg offices will be closed on Thurs., Nov. 25 and Fri., Nov. 26, 2021. This includes offices in the Municipal Building located on Lafayette Street and the Quarterpath Recreation Center.
Weds., Nov. 24, 2021:
The Williamsburg-James City County Courthouse on Monticello Ave. will close at noon
Thurs., Nov. 25 and Fri., Nov. 26, 2021:
The Williamsburg-James City County Courthouse will be closed
Waller Mill Park will be closed on Thurs. (Nov. 25) but will follow normal operating hours (8 a.m. to 5 p.m.) on Fri., Nov. 26
*** The holiday closures will not impact trash/recycling for the City of Williamsburg Virginia.
