A “flight” is basically a collection of samplings and tastings of food or drink, usually 4 to 10 options, so that you can try different brews or bites. It’s common to find flights of beer and wine but Column 15 is taking it up a notch with flights of coffee, cold brew, tea, latte, hot chocolate and even Italian soda.
Column 15 is a roastery that specializes in fair-trade, organically-sourced, and locally roasted coffee but also offers tea, cider, and food items such as paninis, bagels and other baked goods. Popular items include the Obsidian Nitro Cold Brew with Nitro Cream flavors like Milky Way, Salty Valentine, and Lavender Chocolate Mint. And don’t forget to try their coffee ice balls!
Flights are the perfect way to try different coffees and find your favorite. Plus, the knowledgable baristas at Column 15 can share more about the various flavor options, their origins, and how best to drink them.
Column 15 is owned and operated by locals James Kroll and Victoria Goldsby, graduates of William & Mary. Column 15 Coffee is located at 701 R, Merrimac Trail in Williamsburg, Virginia.
